Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I last logged into this account, I just wanted to update from the last journal. Basically I have been working full time at a tree care company, and I have never worked full time before- needless to say, it has significantly cut down my free time to do things. By the end of the year I will be going back for the second year of apprenticeship, so I will probably have a bit of free time to do more things. Maybe not, I don't like promising things that may not go according to plan. 

I have been picking up more with gouache painting on my free time, but I'm reluctant to post them up here. I have been posting less readily for some reason, but hopefully I'll get back to it. 

So, for those who have started watching me, thank you, and unfortunately I may not update again for a while. 

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I last updated this journal.

I just wanted to write out what I'll be doing/hopefully doing within the next few months:

-finishing one more crochet plush
-finishing my cosplay for Anime North
-thinking about writing patterns for past projects

I'm curious about writing patterns- how many of you would be interested in purchasing my patterns? I would like to make them available with a few tips on how to put the pieces together. 

With that being said, in a couple weeks I'll be working full time as a climbing arborist/grounds person at a tree care company. It's going to be a lot of labour work, and I haven't done this before- I think I'll be pretty tired for the next few months. 

And now I have been playing it for a bit.

It got a bit late yesterday, so I decided to post this up today.

I did not expect to see this amount of activity after coming back from my dinner! So many new followers (hello!) and notes, and then I found that had posted some lovely entries on reddit and livejournal~  

It was a wonderful thing to read those comments, after such a so-so day today.  I hadn't felt so confident in my abilities lately, so it was very uplifting.

As for the status of commissions, I had been taking a short break before starting on the next couple of commissions I had during the summer. For those of you who had stated an interest in commissioning me from the summer, I'm sorry it has been taking a while! I'm going to push myself to finish those ones, but I'll need a confirmation to do so. I'm also going to add that I will start working on commissions that have at least a portion of it paid for upfront- it seems to keep me on track!

I guess I can leave the commissions open, but it may take a while depending on if there's still interest with those from the summer. Thanks for checking out my page, commenting, or faving my work! 

Hello everybody, it's been a while since I last updated the journal. Post two weeks from Anime North 2013, and I am still feeling its afterglow. It must be from all the new friends I made~

I've already got plans for next year (and it's Wind Waker themed!). I am just very motivated to make a ton of things right now!
With that being said, I am going to open up commissions! I have been crunching some numbers on the hours I take, and I have been trying to construct a price range accordingly.  Here's what I've got so far:

- 6 to 8 inch (15 to 20 cm) plush: $25 - $50

- 12 to 14 inch (30 to 35 cm) plush: $50 - $75

- 18 to 20 inch (45 to 50 cm) plush: $75 - $100

-24 inch and up (60 cm and up) plush: $100 and up

These prices are rough estimates, depending on the amount of detail, and if it is done in fabric or crocheted. They also do not include shipping.

I have also been thinking of trying to open commissions for pictures- maybe some quick test run watercolour commissions for a special price of about $10?
